Skip Paris and go for a weekend in Reims in stead! When this beautiful and quite small city in the heart of Champange region you should definately drink Champagne besides seeing the main sights.

Dining in Reims
Along he huge square Place Drouet d’Erlon there are plenty of bars and restaurants, most of them serving French food in Brasseries or Bistros. Standard is high and since Reims does not have as much tourism as Paris there aren’t any “tourist traps”. There are places for fresh seafood, such as Oysters from the Atlantic coast of France, as well as good steak places, try a classic Steak Frites with Bearnaise sauce if you are really hungry.
