Enjoy an Austrian, Turkish or French breakfast or lunch at Vienna food market Naschmarkt in the surroundings of the Vienna Technical University. This place is perfect if you fancy eating something else than breaded pork and schnitzel since there are several food stalls and restaurants crowded along the whole allyway with outdoor tables during warmer months, here people gather to enjoy a bite and a glass of white wine or Spritz. Do not forget to savour any of all the delicious baklavas offered in the stalls.
The market has been active since 1770s during which is was a milk market and around twenty years later people started selling fruit and veggies in their stalls. Today there are around 120 fixed stands and pavilions and on Saturdays there is a large flee market held here as well.
