Off to Greece and want to explore something else but Athens or the islands? Hyatt Regency
There are two Hyatt hotels placed south of Thessaloniki, one is the five star Regency which I stayed at for a week and then there is the Casino just a 5 minutes drive from Regency.
Hyatt Regency is a large complex without showing, the buildings are not higher than three storeys and holds lobby bar and restaurant as well as a Convention area. Then there is the large outdoor pool area and the pool bar where there are lots of weedings held each year.
At a nice Spa there is an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and great fitness / gym with all equipment one could need.
Here they also offer massage and place for playing squash and tennis.
Comfy rooms at Hyatt
The rooms are very comfortable and it seems that all of them have a balcony, at leats the ones towards the pool area (and sun). I would say that the third floor is the best in case you seek sun into the room and on the balcony during the day.

Spa area
The Spa area consists of a nice indoor pool attached to a Jacuzzi and two rooms for fitness training; with lots of cardio machines but also a room filled with gym training machines and free weights.
In the changing rooms there are both a Finnish sauna and a Turkish hamam.
